Patience and fortitude: During the first stage of production of the Sonate des Saisons video, ombú productions recorded my performance of Rachel Laurin’s Sonate pour piano en mi mineur, Op. 2. I’m presently sorting out the details from the sound engineer’s notes and reviewing the 8.5 hours of recorded material. Audio post-production is, indeed, a lengthy and labour-intensive process.
