The summer has been far from idyllic: I recently embarked on another creative multidisciplinary project; this time, the performance video component of Sonate des Saisons will embrace the intimate interaction of music, dance, and the world’s oldest abstract art form, Chinese calligraphy. Last month, my film-audio team and I had our first shoot; although it was extremely demanding and lengthy, we were able to pull it off.
