The Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil welcomes pianist Minna Re Shin

The 26th season of the Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil

The Orchestre symphonique de Longueuil, under the direction of Maestro Luc Chaput, welcomes the Canadian pianist Minna Re Shin, in the upcoming concert entitled “Cinémaestro.”

Rediscover the great classics which have made a mark in cinema, including an excerpt from Richard Strauss’ Sprach Zarathustra, featured in Stanley Kubrick’s film 2001: A Space Odyssey, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 21 in C major, K. 467, associated with the Swedish film Elvira Madigan.

The concert will be presented on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 8 p.m. at the Pratt & Whitney Canada Hall in the Théâtre de la Ville, 150 Gentilly St. East, Longueuil (Quebec) J4H 4A9.
